Introduction to Starring Messages

Starring messages helps you keep track of conversations you care about. Adding a star will cause the conversation to show up in your Starred Filter/Inbox so you can easily access the conversation and track updates via notifications. 

Adding a star is an individual action, meaning that the conversation will appear as starred for you, but not for any other teammates you have on Spruce. This is a great way to track tasks and patients that you personally wish to follow up on or keep top of mind.


Star from the Inbox

From the web:

From the inbox, click on the three vertical dots that appear in the upper right-hand corner when you hover over a patient conversation. From there, select the option to Star.

From the mobile app:

Swipe left on the conversation you’d like to star, and select Star from the options.

To unstar, repeat these steps, but select Unstar Conversation.


Star from within a conversation

From the web:

Select the patient conversation that you wish to Star. On the top right of your screen, you'll see the Star icon. Select the Star icon to star the conversation.

From the mobile app:

Open the conversation you wish to star. Then, select the "i" icon to go to the Conversation Details page. From there, select the Star icon on the top right. 

When you return to the inbox, the conversation will be marked with a star and appear in the Starred Filter. 

To unstar, repeat these steps, but select Unstar Conversation from the menu.
