How to create multiple logins for Spruce using one email address?
Currently, we have confirmed this works with Google and Outlook emails addresses (custom domain or gmail) only but if you have another service this has worked on please let us know! When you use the method below, you will still receive all the message but be able to have different logins.
When you choose a Gmail (or Outlook) email address, you actually get more than just yourusername@gmail.com. Here are two different ways you can modify your Gmail address and still get your mail:
Add a plus (“+”) sign and any combination of words or numbers after your email address. For example, if your name was yourusername@gmail.com, you could send mail to yourusername+practicename@gmail.com or yourusername+@gmail.com.
For example, if your email address is jessica@mytestvirtualassistant.com use jessica+DrBrown@mytestvirtualassistant.com or jessicatestemailaddress+drbrown@gmail.com
How to be logged into multiple accounts on web
You can only be logged into one Spruce organization at a time per browser login. Below we share how to create different profiles on Chrome so you can be logged in to multiple Spruce accounts at one time. This is great if you are a virtual assistant!
Option 1: Use multiple browsers such as Chrome and/or Safari
Option 2: If using Chrome browser created multiple profiles for each clinic. Open each Organization Profile in a new tab and be logged in to different Spruce accounts.
How to add a person or profile
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right of your screen, click Profile (circle with profile in it).
- Click Add.
- Choose a name and a photo.
- Click Add. A new window will open

Can I use one email address for multiple Spruce organizations?
Technically no, but with Gmail or Outlook there is a workaround. Add a plus sign and a word to your address, such as yourname+practicename@gmail.com (assuming your email is yourname@gmail.com), to create a separate Spruce login that still delivers to your normal inbox.
Can I be logged into two Spruce organizations at the same time?
Only on the web app, and it requires you use different browsers, different profiles or incognito.
Do I need a separate account phone number for each Spruce organization?
No. You can use the same cell phone across organizations.
