To change the mobile phone number associated with your account
If you are still able to log into Spruce, you can make this change to your own account on the web or in the Spruce mobile app.
Navigate to Settings > Account, then click 'Edit' in the 'Mobile Phone Number' section. You will need to enter your account password before you edit your mobile phone number.
Ensure you have access to the new mobile device, as you will need to use it to receive a verification code in the next step. After entering the verification code, the mobile phone number on your account will be updated.
If you are not able to log into Spruce:
If you are a patient or a provider who does not have access to the Spruce app, please send an email to support@sprucehealth.com, and ask to update the mobile phone number associated with your account.
Once you email Support, we'll ask you to verify your identity for security purposes. This may include sending us a picture of your face with your photo ID (driver's license, passport, or government-issued ID) and verifying the current email and number associated with your account.
If you are a patient, you can also have your provider reach out to us with your updated phone number. We'll then be able to verify the request.
To change the email associated with your account

Navigate to Settings > Account, then click 'Edit' in the 'Email' section. You will need to enter your account password before you edit your email address.
Ensure you have access to the new email address, as you will need to use it to receive a verification code. After entering the verification code, your email address will be updated.
Note: This will not change your billing email address. You can manage your billing email from Settings > Billing.
If you are not able to log into Spruce:
If you are a patient or a provider who does not have access to Spruce, please send an email to support@sprucehealth.com, and ask to update the email associated with your account.
Once you email Support, we'll ask you to verify your identity for security purposes. This may include sending us a picture of your face with your photo ID (driver's license, passport, or government-issued ID) and verifying the current email and number associated with your account.
To change your Spruce number after creating your account
Please message the Support team within the app and we would be happy to remove your existing Spruce phone number from your account so that you can provision a new number (just like you did the first time).
Once we remove your number, simply navigate to your settings on the mobile app, and under Contact select Phone and SMS to claim a new number with the desired area code. Please note that you will no longer receive calls or messages to your previous Spruce number, once it is removed.
